Why Choose
Southern Maine Hearing?
What to Expect at
Your First Appointment
All patients of Southern Maine Hearing are always treated like family, and you will always be greeted with a warm smile when you step into our office.
- To begin, we will complete your personalized consultation. This process helps us determine the extent of your hearing impairment and uncover any specific areas that may need further attention.
- After our conversation then we will perform an ear exam. We will have a close look at the inside of your ear and determine if the hearing difficulty is due to an obstruction or damage to the ear canal or eardrum.
- Then we will assess your hearing ability with a hearing test. We will look at how well you can hear in noise and quiet and determine the exact degree of your hearing loss.
- Once we’ve tested your hearing then we will go over your results and come up with a solution. We will work with you and value input by your family or loved ones.
